Speed Up Your Computer in 3 Easy Steps

Speed up your computer in 3 easy steps using my favorite FREE tool called CCleaner that I use regularly to speed up my old Dell Latitude D600 laptop. It is made available by Piriform and works just as well with PCs/desktop computers.

CCleaner is a very easy-to-use tool that can speed up any new or old PC or laptop. Every time you run CCleaner it will speed up your computer staggeringly by removing caches and bloating temporary files. It can even empty your recycle bin.

If you are encountering any of the following problems, CCleaner can help to speed up your computer by at least 50% faster!

  • Slow performance: Opening basic files take forever; You are on your second cup of coffee and your computer is still booting up.
  • Frequent “Blue screens of death” causing your computer to crash
  • Browser freezing or taking forever to open websites.
  • Computer fan kicking into high gear often

You perhaps have also had issues with pop-up ads flying in your face while online. This is likely because your computer has been hijacked by adware, spyware or, worst of the lot, malware.

Unwelcome pop-up ads can also slow down your computer performance and in the case of malwares, can even make changes to your computer registry settings.

An important thing to remember it to always enable your browser’s pop-up blocker. In Mozilla Firefox, use the following screenshots to help you enable its popup blocker if it is not yet enabled. First go to Tools>Options then make sure the “block pop-up windows” box is check:
